Tile edging

Hi.

Can someone please tell me what the other alternatives are instead of using the plastic or metal edging strips.

In my bathroom I have quite a few areas where I will need something and would like to use something different.

I often use nothing at all if the tiles don't extend to a corner. I also often mitre the tiles on external corners if the customer agrees; personally I think it looks more professional & better but it does require a decent diamond wet cutter & a certain amount of skill to do. It has to be done right if it’s to look good & not be vulnerable to damage; possibly not a good idea on corners subject to heavy traffic & likely to be badly knocked.
