Hi all
Getting a new Bathroom installed, want the walls & floors fully porcelian tiled. Have been told a good long term option is a tilebacker board:
http://www.british-gypsum.com/products/glasroc-h-tilebacker
12.5mm directly on walls, no plaster finish, 6mm board over chipboard floor with tiles over. Is this a good option for tiling?
Asked a local builder who says it's awful, moves around, not fit for purpose etc. Would use an aqua panel around the shower and standard plaster finish elsewhere.
But in theory the tilebacker board sounds good to me? Any advice greatly appreciated.
