Hi all,
Well I’ve been problem free until this project so hoping some one may be able to help me out with some advice

I’m going to be making a tiled pitched canopy roof along the front of my house / downstairs window .

I’ve watched a few videos but all so to be a bit different, when I’m firing my sloping truss /timbers do they need to be chopped out think it’s called duck beak or mouth? Lol or can they just be mitred and fitted with joist hangers ?

I saw this video by stu Compton but they are just mitred ?
Thanks
Jake

Ps pic to give you a idea!

Some thing is amiss on your main roof central of the field area ..
Might be nothing but those double Romans aren't sitting neatly as they should

Thanks
Jake
