I have recently had dry ridge, dry verge and soffit etc.
Upon inspection there was a very thick covering of moss over most of the roof.
I decided to jet wash it clean, I know I should not have but after 40 years the tile coating was long gone anyway.
Now I basically have bear concrete tiles.
Is there any treatment I can apply to remedy this? or is it even a problem?
Also is there any thing I can do to stop the moss coming back, I am at an age now that that is probably my last venture onto my roof.
I have read about copper tape that can be applied just under the ridge, does this work?

Thank you.

Noticed on roofs locally that those with a dormer window with some lead flashing underneath have very little moss on the area of the roof below the dormer. Not sure whether that is generally true or not.
