tilers price /m²

I need a tiler and a guide to what's the going rate/m² (if there is such a rate)

Wetroom approx 5.5m² floor area the 'drain base' is laid and 'tanked' walls are three side 2.3m high x 6m long approx

Tiles 450x 300mmm

difficult to say some work "day rate" some work "per sqm" it depends on many factors, including and not exclusive to; tile size, size of room, materials included? access to property, access to room.. the list goes on!

most round here go for approx £25 a square meter tho for straight forward jobs.

I base my quotes on sqm and tile size,the smaller the tiles the price goes up.If its a small area with lots of cuts say a wc floor then I may double it due to the work involved.

I tiled this area a few weeks ago and it took a day all tiled and grouted due to lots of cuts around the doorways and the centre piece.
Price charged £150,that included adhesive (about £8 )

Thanks I only grout same day if its a small area and and Ive used rapid set,I give it a couple of hours tho.

maybe im a little greedy and charge half day for grouting

As for charging a half day revisit to grout, I guess that depends on where you live and what your competition is tiling?
