Hi all,

Had a cowboy in doing my garage conversion... He left along list of things incomplete.

Just wanted an opinion on the velux tiling. It looks dog rough to me... But it's a low angle so might be fine to a professional?

Just don't want it letting damp in.

Any advice would be great... Do I need to get a proper roofer out?

I'm not a pro roofer but when I did my extension I had to grind a bit off the underside of the tiles so that they would sit flush on the Velux flashing. Doesn't look like that's been done (or maybe it's not possible with the tiles you have, but I would think it would be).

The tiles aren't straight either and there's no excuse for that. I don't know if you're going to have damp issues but it looks like the risk will be higher.

Roof is to flat pitch for your tiles. Velux should have an Edp flashing , rather than an edw as you do .

Unfortunately I can only see problems in the near future! Definitely move that down pipe.

Needed 5 skylights not 3

I cant quite tell but the lead flashing doesnt look like its covering those top tiles enough, but could just be the camera angle.
