Not happy that a tiler wants us to give him the job without inspecting it in person, ie just via pictures.
Just the number of tradespeople recently that have not delivered on this basis means we don't like the idea of being stuck if they say werent aware of x y and z its another £ xxxx.
The floor has Quarry tiles on one side and wooden floor on the other.
so what is the best way to to level the floor, obviously the issue is going to be the quarry tiles going to the wooden floor. (the join)
Told we cant use backer board on the quarry tiles is this right?
Just checking things out but already ordered the tiles for the floor, so kind of committed.
any guidance is appreciated, I have seen an old thread on this, but as practices change wondered what could be done now.
