Hi I am looking to start tiling on a new project. Have installed underfloor heating pipe work and had liquid screed poured on about 3 months ago. Heating working fine. I have had the floor polished as well.
I have brought proflex so s1 bags to lay the tiles and have brought durables rolls.

So my question is, I have to prime the floor, but which primer is best for the floor I have?

Also what adhesive do I use to fix the durabase to the floor? Not sure if I can use the proflex?

Wana make sure I get this right first time!

Thanks in advance.

I used mapei primer G (a few coats) for my liquid screed floor, I then used flexible semi rapid tile adhesive to stick the mat (Dural CI++ crack mat) to the floor. Used a small notched trowel.

This is the tile adhesive I used:

Rocatex

I used the same tile adhesive for the tiles to the mat, just used a very large notch trowel, 20x10mm for the tiles, 600mm stone.

Good luck, take your time.

Thanks mr chibs. I will get the same primer from local store. I will try the proflex to stick the mat to the floor and see how it goes.
