I have a concrete floor that has shown a little damp. I think the DPM was damaged when some central heating pipes were fitted.

I can't afford to replace the floor. I have applied 2 coats of Black Jack to stop any damp coming through and now want to tile over the top, but not sure whether they will adhere.

Any thoughts on this?

I've seen a suggestion of using a layer of self levelling screed on top of the Black Jack, but I can't see why that would stick any better to the Black Jack.

Thanks all.

But a thin coat of self levelling compound over the floor which is a nice clean surface and will make the job easier for you

Coat the floor once it is dry with SBR bond and then tile away to your hearts content :D
