Hi all,
I want to put 10 mm polished porcelain tiles in my kitchen floor but it is two thirds floorboard (on 4x2"joists) and one third quarry tiles. Following other advice posted on this site I should be plying over floorboard with 12 mm plywood. Should I ply over the quarry tiles ?
Would it be better to remove the floorboards and putting 25 mm ply on joists and 6mm ply on quarry. I realise This approach would ensure I get less off a step at the threshold
thx in advance
