Tiling over Vinyl

I have already read on this great forum that this practise is OK, if the old adhesive style tiles are securely in place.

My question is, what adhesive should I use?

A bag of normal concrete floor adhesive in B&Q was around £10, but they also had stuff especially for Floor tiling over vinyl and asphalt for £35!!!!

Is the extra worth it? Or indeed necessary.

You would be better off going to a proper tile shop/supplier and asking them what they recomend for this type of job.The adhesive you need will def be more expensive as it will need to be a flexi one and i would use flexi grout as well,so yes it is worth it,i would use bal or mapei adhesive and grout or whatever shop/supplier stocks and recomends
