start again, dont be a cheapskate and buy better tiles, or live with it

I might be missing something here Richard, but how will using a "decent" grout change the colour of the tile?

Err, umm well I got that wrong then didn’t I  probably too much claret last night; for some reason thought the OP was talking about grout; sorry for any confusion.

Yes if it only was as simple as new grout

So for future, its best to buy in one go, and buy quite a lot over, if you decide to do more, like we did

I thought all white, would be just that white. not lighter

no way to take out eye off it? bath wall were the baths sits, doing my head in now

B&Q will give 90 days unconditional cash refund with receipt on returns & almost indefinite credit without a receipt ;). I use their local trade store on at least a weekly bassis for all sorts of stuff & they know me by name at the returns counter; it;s never a problem . Most reputable tile companies will also refund returns for a minimum of 30 days; obviously unopened boxes only!

If there is any doubt about the quantity of materials you need or if you think things may change, always buy enough for all eventualities. ;)
