Never tiled above my head before (as in a ceiling) Got the underside of the window reveal to do in the next couple of nights and not looking forward to it. Am I likely to have bother getting the tiles to stick. Just 7mm 200 x250 so not heavy.
Thanks.______

What are you tiling onto? what adhesive do you propose to use?

Hi Richard
Tiling onto old painted plaster which has been scored and primed with Mepei Primer G. Adhesive is powder Mapei fast set.

I don't think you will have any problems other than holding the tiles a little longer for the addy to grab but keep your eye on it.

if you have already tiled the sill and its set, cut your self 2 bits of timber, 1 to run the length of the upper reveal, and 1 from sill to upper timber, this will brace your tiles until they are fully set.

Don't know what I was bothered about. Did the job last night and the tiles stuck like sh*t to a shovel.
Got some bull nose upvc to use for the window sill instead of tiling that. Will save the grout from getting grotty with things being laid on it.
