I've replaced a number of window handles over the years. They have been pretty simple and inexpensive. Is the handle for a tilt and turn window the same?

Firstly, can I buy a "regular" handle from Screwfix, etc. or is this "special" in any way?

It's very stiff and on occasions, I am unable to press the push button on the handle to move it to tilt or open. I'm hoping a new handle should fix this.

There seem to be a wide variety of tilt and turn handles out there.. a picture with dimensions would help, someone will probably recognise them.

They are 'special', as they have 180 degrees of movement, compared to the usual 90 degrees

And if the issue is pressing the button, the issue does sound handle related. You may be able to remove, lubricate, and re-install the same handle.
