I'm doing a self-build and thought that installing the first floor would be something I could do myself.

Is it as straight forward as it seems (i.e. install and level the joists, then fit the boards on top).

I have two soil pipes coming through, but apart from that I am not expecting to fit noggins. Is this right?

Thanks

It's not hard to do, but regarding noggings that all depends on the lenght/size of the joists. But whatever the lenght/size it's best to put noggings in, it stiffings the floor up and makes it less bouncies-ness
