I am planning on building a timber frame summer house, single story brick external skin and tiled roof. Traditional timber frame calls for 150 x 47mm framework I believe. Is it acceptable to build a 6 x 4m building with 100 x 47mm studs?
Traditional timber frame only calls for 150 timber as this accommodates 150mm of insulation quilt (ie is cheaper). You can use 89mm CLS and rigid board instead.
