What would people suggest is the most sensible way to cover a 6m by 5m timber framed garage?
The garage will be studwork, eventually clad with something like shiplap timber. I think my garage at a previous house was studwork, covered with bitumin lining paper, then clad, but looking around other people also put a layer of OSB in there somewhere. I like that idea because it will add to rigidity and make it easy to keep things perfectly rectangular.
My current thinking is studwork, clad with osb, wrapped in the paper liner, with shiplap on top.
Is this sensible? Can anyone suggest anything better?
Thanks for any advice.
James
