We are going to be building a potting shed /mini greenhouse mainly from typical planed pine with some shiplac and wooden glazing bars etc.
What would be a good wood preserver to use and what are the best top coats ?
We probably will be looking to use a coloured product rather than just the clear/wood stain types.
Have seen some suggestions on the web but some are from rather obscure makers or very costly which is not ideal for our modest build, just trying to find the happy medium between price and lifespan.
