I have bought a timed extractor fan, the fan has Live, Neutral and switch live connections but the wiring from the light I want to connect to is only two core wiring with a Neutral and live wire, how can I get the fan to function, even if only when the light is on?

not off to a good start posting in the wrong forum, hoepfully a mod will move it.
you need to link Live to the switched live terminal, or get the right fan

Get 3c+e cable, and wire from the switch, or the JB that the switch is connected to.
