Hi,

We are on economy 7 here. It would be nice to have a heated towel rail in the bathroom which come on only in the cheap night rate hours.

The bathroom is big enough to comply with all the zones and I'm happy to comply with all the wiring and socket regulations I've read about in the forum posts.

I could plug a hour timer into the socket outlet in the bedroom next door and run a cable through the wall to the bathroom. But is there a legal way of timing the rail within the bathroom itself?

Thank you JohnyG. That thing does look good. I take it that if I installed one in the bedroom, and just ran a cable from it through the wall directly to the heated towel rail, I'd be within regulations?

Yes, assuming the towel rail is already installed and is outside zone 2.
If it's not then there are other considerations to take in to account.

Yep, we meet all the obligations of the regulations

You've been very helpful. Cheers.
