Hi.
I have fitted a Honeywell ST772 Programmer that controls my hotwater/Heating.
This programmer i believe i am correct in saying is a one zone, i.e controls both hotwater and heating together.
I am looking for a two zone programmer so i can control hotwater at differant times of the day to the heating.
Can anyone help? I have found a honeywell ST9400c which a site says is a replacement for st772, but will there be any alteration to wiring etc? I not sure i can handle this if there is !!!!
Thanks in advance

The ST9400C is a direct replacement. The terminal numbers are the same. Not sure if the back plates are the same.

What's the problem with changing a backplate? Drill 2 holes, stick two plugs in, mount backplate. It probably would help if you connect the wires to the new backplate, but you should check the working of the valves individually anyway.

Who said anything about a problem?

Now you're confusing the OP. He'll wonder what valve(s) you are talking about.

If that's the case, the job would clearly be outside his competence.
