Hi would any of you awesome people out there be able to give me a hand my programmer timer for the boiler has packed in and the read out is just staying same 12:21pm frozen and not allowing any control of the boiler so cant get heat. My brother inlaw dropped me in a sunvic select 107xl which I'm not sure is compatable but if theres a way I'll use it.
Old controller is a set2e which has never heated the water since the boiler was installed (new boiler furnace but same old crappy grubby controller) even though been told the heating always heated the water but boiler installer couldn't get it working although he saids "thats it all ready to go should have hot water and that heat over flow radiator in bathroom working" but never had heat and only if boiler is run at near full temp with pump on 3 does the bathroom rad heat.

Anyway nuff about that times are hard and money is non existant I'm more than able on most jobs and have stripped the boiler down and cleaned the entire system as rust and sludge had got through the system as the "boiler guy" didn't install a filter anywhere on the line from tank to nozzle so only filters on the system were oil pump, nozzle assemblys check valve (I know not a filter but it stopped a fair bit) and the nozzle itself all these have been cleaned and new nozzle ordered and a filter from the old system fitted at oil line into pump to catch any crap to stop the system bunging up as much as it did also cleaned the baffles and flue.

So heres what I have: boiler, timer and single pump
And heres what I want to wire it into

Boiler is a Worchester bosch 70/90-000-NI-L

Not sure if its even possible but if it is I don't mind as long as it works old timer is T45 and other is T35.
Thanks for any input :)

You need to establish what the wire from no 1 does. Without knowing the system( what valves etc you have) The set 2 is a 2 channel programmer and the 107 is a single channel timeswitch.
Live and neatral look after themselves. You do not need the link from L to 2 or 1 to 5. While the set 2 is off, there is a live feed to terminal 1 for whatever????. Terminal is a switched live but when the clock is switched on, you wil have nofeed to no 4. so nothing would work. To use the 107, you need to find out which is the boiler and pump feed and connect to terminal 3, with a link from L to !

Ok all 3 nuetral wires in N & mains live in L obviously, bridged L to 1 left out 2 and both L wires from pump and boiler temp dial in 3.

Tested a quick blast and she fired up roaring away, after switching off theres a hissing sound in the flue fyi the boiler hasn't worked for about a month would the noise be condensation in the flue or trapped air in the furnace walls or could the wiring be wrong and the pump isn't turning off (isolated the oil line when switched off and heard the hiss then turned off at mains)

You need to sort out that abortion of a connection with your earth wires before you go any further.

Yeah I thought it was not right but thats the way the guy that installed the boiler had it after he installed the new boiler. Where should I put them? Into the off terminal? Or the unmarked one? As it stands its running which is something, and hissing must of been just moisture as its not doing it after I let it do a couple of 1 hour cycles, nice to have heat :)
