Hi,
I have lowered the height of a rendered garden wall by cutting a horizontal line through the render level with the mortar line of the blockwork and then bolster and hammer to remove the blocks. Unfortunately, despite being very careful not to disturb the render, there are a few places where it has broken away and needs patching. These areas are no more than a few inches square, so I am hoping to avoid the need to buy material to patch such small areas.
I have some bagged pre-mixed mortar to use to bed down the copings I will be laying on top. Can I use this to patch these small areas of damaged render as well?
Thanks.
Jay
