I doubt it. I use tiny url quite a bit and never had a problem.

Maybe the preview feature is what they mean? Which is cookie related somehow.

I use it quite often as well and I don't have any problem.

Never had a problem with it in four years.

I use it on most urls over about 25 digits so that they do not run off the edge of a forum page.
