I don't think they went very OTT, and I don't think that there ought not to be a place for them.

Indeed they are, but that doesn't mean that they can't be criticised or challenged, nor does it mean that they shouldn't adapt their actions to fit in with what people want.

The vile and hateful posts are still allowed. And those who call the people who post them vile and hateful people are censored.

And what kind of free speech do we have? What kind of people are we, when we allow murder, arson and maiming to be advocated, under the banner of "free speech", but a photo of a woman bending over a car wearing more clothes than you typically see on a family beach is such a threat to our "civilised" values that it has to be removed?

Which will do more harm to impressionable young minds (if there are any here, which I very much doubt) - photos like that, or posts saying it is right and proper to burn mosques and shoot immigrants?

I only ever posted rants when the mods took the side of the murderers, torturers and racists, I didn't "keep on". If it seemed to you that I was often ranting about the mods taking the side of the murderers, torturers and racists, it's because the mods often did take the side of the murderers, torturers and racists.

Don't reckon BAS was out of line at all...appears he has been doing same as I have just recently...just asking a few innocent questions. For me, what I was saying was that posts or whole threads were deleted without any explanation...was just asking for one, that's all.
