when my cystern refills and the ballcock goes back to its original position it is not stopping the supply fully it is dripping causing it to drip out of the o/flow.tried adjusting screw but no diff.what do i need to replace?thanks

Need to take off the bathroon ceiling to get 56" stilsons in to disconnect festered nut, try not to crack the pan when you get the bill

turn off water
flush cistern undo connector
place bowl or towel under cistern (on floor )
undo large nut
remove valve
reverse process

offer me loads of dosh (which will of course be declined )
