Can anyone help/advise, only just started, when flushing upstairs toilet as it fills its making a horrible noise, i’ve read that changing the infill valve will solve this, but I put a new one on yesterday, and the problems persists, as it refilling, if I turn the sink cold water tap on, the noise stops, the tap itself has a small drip, could it possibly mean the cartridge in the sink needs replacing, or anyone got any more ideas, thanks

What inlet did you use? A silent fill?
Some make more noise than others.
Maybe your water pressure has been raised recently and this has caused the noise.
