Hi,
My tenant has said that sometimes (about once a month) when he flushes the toilet the water level remains high in the bowl. So, obviously a blockage. (He said that it may be because his young son uses too much toilet paper).
So he plunges the toilet with a toilet brush, and water escapes out of the back of the toilet! He showed me. I tried to get round the back of the toilet as best I could (see photo).
I dont think its seeping out of the joint where the pipe meets the toilet. It almost looked like it squirted from directly behind the toilet! (I cant see round corners so dont know for sure).
Any idea what could be happening!? Im concerned because it is sewage water coming out.
