Yes, on MDF, and its all swollen around the base, vinyl flooring tiles cut around the base - have lifted as a result - and failed yellowed silicon has allowed moisture to penetrate, fortunately the toilet has not been pushed up, I assume fixings go through the MDF into the original floorboards.
In 6 months it will all be ripped up and done properly.
In the meantime we want to chisel back the vinyl flooring and swollen MDF around the base about 30-40mm, fill the gap with something waterproof, then waterproof this 30-40mm margin around the base, and put new temporary vinyl flooring over the top.
As this is all temporary I am adverse to spending £50/60 on tanking solutions ... any ideas for a cheap bodge to keep the margin waterproof around the base - till its done properly.
Thanks
