I have to replace a few broken quarry tiles on a front step, i have been giving it a miss due to the weather but need to take my chance and do it tommorrow as it looks looks at 6-7 deg it may be the warmest it'll get before xmas. and the lady is pretty keen to get it done as a lot of them have lifted and and cracked.

I was planning on using some rapidset for obvious reasons.

What say you? Anyone think it's a bad idea?

You should only be using Rapiset anyway; it will take longer to go off but should be OK down to around 5 degrees. Cover in sacks &/or polystyrene but if it freezes overnight you could well be in trouble! You could always offer to sleep on the doorstep overnight.

I wouldn't be bothering til warmer weather but its a bit dangerous. thanks for the vote of confidence.
