Anyone know where you can get those old-fashioned hessian like bags with brass eyelets round the edges :confused: Chippies used to have them.dunno what they`re called :oops:

A bass? I believe pronounced like the fish of the same name. No one uses them any more cos they are like you say, old fashoined. Get a sparkly box with catches and trays and built in microwave (just don't expect the hinges to last) ;)
 
I tend to use old army kit bags for my gear..... not so keen on plastic boxes, as said before, cheaper ones normally end up with failing hinges. Some of my current kit bags ive had for several years, and still going strong....
 
i use a cloth bag for my kit is very good as i can fit much more in and dont matter what shapes or sizes, as opposed to the tool box trying to get everything in and peeing about with it.

but to answer your post sorry no idea what its called :oops:

Those Bass's do look pretty classy.
If your not too fashion conscious the Ikea blue bag at 25p is pretty useful, I've got a van full of 'em
 
have you bought yourself a pipe and a cloth cap to go with it :LOL:
