Hi
Just moved to a new house (1990s build).
Need to fit some venetian blinds to 2 windows.
The supplied fittings only allow me to do a top fixing.
I've made a small hole to see what the lintel is made of. It seems to be metal. I haven't tried drilling into it.
Looking at the plasterwork, I can see that it has been repaired in the past, so it looks as though a blind has previously been fitted and therefore the lintel must have been drilled before.
Is it going to be ok for me to drill more holes in the lintel ?
I'm worried that drilling more holes will weaken it too much ?
Thanks
