I have Toshiba flat screen TV Model no 17 WL46b.
Every couple of months we lose sound on digital and analogue, they usually go within a couple of days of each other, Toshiba have been very good sending a man to fix this problem ( normally a small TV has to be sent to them ) the first time the engineer said the TV didn't know where in the world it was, he put it in service mode altered something and took a capacitor out of the remote. The next time it went he put a whole new board in the TV. Hmm... well it's gone again. Over the weekend i wanted to put a video on, the tape was recorded before the sound went AWOL... but no sound could be heard on playback. My Husband wondered if it could be the sound processors ( if there is such a thing in a TV )
Any body heard of a fault like this ?
Thanks in advance
Lynn
