Towel Rail next to sink

Hello

I've just had some work done in my wet room. The electrician has placed the towel rail right next to the sink. He says that because it is IP55 it is okay. Any comments will be of help.

Pretty sure that's OK but why not ask in the Electrics section?

if the connection is IP55 then yes

As above, it's likely in zone 2 of the bathroom, so IPX5 is recommended.
