Hi there,

i have one of these programmers and seem to have an issue now after almost 10 years trouble free. In addition the display on the programmer no longer shows the time. literally all the available LCD lights on the Display show up i.e time shows "88:88"; all the days on the LCD display are lit up; the on/off lights up as well.

Even when i hit the reset button the heating and hot water red lights show up for a few sconds but the LCD display goes back to showing nonsense! I've tried turning off/on at the mains but display still shows the nonsense!

any ideas - or is the programmer completely gone? im thinking there may be loose wiring somewhere perhaps?

Many thanks

Hi

I realise the OP is a couple of years old, but did you get a reponse ? If so, can you share what the conclusion was since I now have exactly the same problem.

I reckon it's the internal battery that's failing, but would have hoped this would not cause th unit to stop working while there's working mains power.

Thanks

I just bought a new one in the end and got my plumber to fit. wasn't worth the hassle/cost to fix it. not had any problems since
