Guys
Subject - Baxi Combi 105HE
I'm not a CH expert but I am part Pd.
I need some help with the wiring on a Towerstat RF Thermostat.
At the moment the boiler (Baxi Combi) has no roomstat, only a fused switch for on and off and an integral time clock.
The wiring in the boiler has 5 terminals. 1. Live, 2. Neutral and 3. Earth 4. Live for the CH and 5. switched live for the CH. At the moment 4&5 are bridged to enable the manual CH switch on the front of the boiler.
The Towerstat has two options. 230v and volt free.
230v - Live, Neutral, SL (on) and SL (Off)
Volt Free - Live, Neutral, NC (Normally Closed), COM (Volt free feed) and NO (Switched live.)
Do I wire the common and neutral from the CH live in the boiler? Do I take the neutral from terminal 2 (above)?
If this is yes I will need 3 core and earth, correct?
Which is the best option for wiring this and any tips you can give me would be welcomed?
