toyota avensis wing mirror

the glass on wing mirror on my 2005 toyota avensis is broken is they a procedure for removing and replacing glass as it as all motorised i dont want to break anything is this a gob i can do myself

you could just obtain a new piece of glass and stick it over the old 1,or have a chat with the parts dept at toyota and see how much a new 1 costs and ask them how its done,iirc it could be as simple of inserting a screwdriver up a small hole from underneath,but do check before carrying out this info.
