toyota losing water

i have a corolla 94 1.3 hatch. my prob is im losing water not sure where from but presume the water pump. ive heard of a product called insta seal that claims to seal permantley any leak in the cooling system.has anyone used anything like this and does it work or any other like product. doing it on the cheap because im upgrading soon and didnt want to spend to much

if it's the waterpump leaking, then the only fix is a new pump as it's usually the bearings that go

thanks for the reply neo, assuming its the water pump bearings would that a give a low rumbling noise from the area of the pump. im a car phobe as you may have guessed., dont mind getting dirty hands long as i know what im at...cheers
