We've recently got one of these:
http://www.tesco.com/direct/bentley...en-arc-stand-cream/600-8250.prd?source=others
The weather has been pretty good but I've noticed that the wood has started to almost look like it's delaminating along it's growth rings with run along the spars of the stand (N.B. this isn't the pieces of wood delaminating from each other along the glue lines) giving it a much rougher feel than it had when I assembled it a couple of weeks ago.
I'd like to sort this out before it gets any worse so presumably an oil treatment is called for - anyone got any recommendations? Ideally we want to keep the colour about the same so I guess clear/natural oils are the ones to go for.
