My mature eucalyptus tree lies just inside my border fence and I am aware that I will be responsible for any damage caused if it came down into my neighbours garden. I worry that several trees came down during the past winter and I need to get my tree surveyed as it has grown with a conspicuous lean due to prevailing winds. My queries are:
1. How do I know who is certified to survey my tree?
2. What certificate do they issue to say that it is healthy/safe?
3. How often do trees need to be surveyed?
