Can anyone explain to me what trickle vents in headers look like and what are the advantages/disadvantages of them versus vents in the window casements?
Practically speaking they are the same and do the same job.
If you have it fitted in the header then you are likely to need an additional knock-on fitting to the head to allow for plaster and this will need to be considered when measuring.
I suppose the only disadvantage of having them in the casement is they won't work with the window open. Joke honest!
