I've just fitted my first double glazed window and so far, it been good.

I've brought this window on eBay, listed as new. I now, however, suspect it's used as the holes for the trickle vents are too large for the vents I've got!!

The pre drilled holes are at the same thickness and length of the vents themselves! I thought they would of been slightly smaller than the vents!!?

When you put these vents up, you can see a hair line of daylight, all around!

Any idea on what I can do with these pre drilled holes? - I was thinking of covering them with a 45mm pvc trim and then installing the trickle vents.

Thanks in advance.

You could do that or just buy some larger vents from ebay. Lots of different sizes available.
Might be worth a quick message to the guy you got the window from saying the vent is too short as he may have just picked up the wrong one

I did send a message before buy and was told there's only one size, 400mm!!

If there's wider ones, I might do that!

They go right up to 600mm for standard plastic ones, some aluminium ones go to 700mm
