He allegedly 'claimed that his adventures reduced overall greenhouse gas emissions by encouraging people to remain on their sofas...'

Why is that a little embarrassing?

.....In April, he dismissed reports that he would make no more travel programmes. He wrote: 'The truth is that I could no more stop travelling than I could stop drawing breath.'

Is this actually within the essence of his being?
The British Maritime Heritage of an Island Race .. and the need to explore new horizons, if only a few miles down the M4 !!
