Hi all,
ok here is the dilema. A friend of mine has just moved into a newish house that was built less than 10 years ago. The previous owners had a gas oven and an electric shower.
My friend has installed an electric oven and everytime he switches it on it trips the comsumer unit. He has been told that the shower and cooker have been wired to the same switch. Not sure if it is a spur or ring main????
Can any one help ? should it be on a seperate supply or is it ok as it is and just needs a higher amp res current breaker ?
Thanks in advance
Mick.
