Hi, I am on my third Triton 300si shower in 15 years and I wonder if I have to call the plumber again, or if there is a quick fix for its current ailments. BTW: I am OK with getting under its bonnet!

The unit makes the right noises on start-up, after 20-30 seconds the light (that cycles from high to economy, to cold, to low pressure and back to high again) stops in the high position as usual, however, no water flows when I press the start/stop button.

Instead the following things my happen:
  1. the light cycling may start again
  2. all lights other than the start/stop button may go dark
  3. a noise may be heard from the heating chamber, indicating the water is overheating
Annoyingly common to all three options above is that no water flows.

Is it again time for the plumber, or might there still be live in my Triton 300si shower?

A penny for your thoughts!

Cheers,
Cindy
