I've just bought and installed a new Triton Enrich shower to replace an old Triton which had packed in. (No flow, Neon light off) I followed the instructions to the letter and was waiting to commission the unit as advised but nothing happens when I turn the power switch... Water pressure is good and unit has power (Neon is on) Any ideas? Duff unit or duff installer?

What do you expect when you buy the worst make on the market?

Well, I guess a shower that worked... I know Triton are cheap and cheerful but this takes the biscuit. Perhaps I should trek back to Screwfix...

Well if Triton were professional they would send out their service engineer to repair it under the warranty.

You would not need to take it off and return to the supplier!

I suppose that's what separates a professional from a DIY product?

So I managed to get through to Triton... (direct to their offices in Birmingham) Chap asked if the power light goes off when I turn it on and it does. He said that's an earth problem. Think I need a spark...

You are very brave to install an electric shower without checking the earth connection!

I do hope the supply is through an RCD ?

Tony

Yep, all through an RCD on the main fuse box. All power in house was turned off just to make sure!

I seem to have exactly the same problem with a Triton Enrich. LED light goes on. The water supply is OK. But the shower won't operate. Did you ever find out what was wrong?

In the end, we replaced the shower with another Triton Enrich, without fixing any switches or anything else. The new one works fine. So perhaps the solenoid had failed on the previous one.
