Triton T80si Shower not heating

Hi All, we have a Triton shower and the thermal cut out has cut out. Apparently you cannot but this part on its own, you need to get the heater can with cutout in situ at a cost in excess of £100. Can you bypass the cut out with a suitable wire? There are no small kids or elderly people going to use the shower so safety from excess temperature is not an issue. Don't want to pay out for the spare part or buy a new shower just yet, still getting over Xmas.

Hi, that is the part but it has the incorrect part number. The one I require is 22010270, this is the one that has been discontinued.
