trouble with zone settings for Eurosec CP8L alarm. HELP

hi,
I am having problems with my alarm, the zone settings have changed due to a power cut.. everytime i go upstairs the alarm goes off even tho it is unset. Can anybody please URGENTLY advise me what to do as my engineer has gone on holiday and cant get through to him...

Are you saying that the sensor on the landing is setting off the alarm?

If so you'll have to take off the sensor lid and locate the wires in the terminals marked either alarm or N C. Unscrew the terminals and remove the wires. Twist them together and put them back in either of the terminals you took them out from. Put the lid back on and it should be OK until your guy comes back.
