I seem to rip my trousers around my arse and underside so much. I’m not a sex fiend mind, it’s just that I stretch this area a lot when working.

so I need another new pair again as the under carriage is again in full show.

I use SITE trousers from screwfix but I really need something better.

What I realise now is that I need more flexibility in the trouser material. An elastic waist is also good.

Any recommendations for what to use.

I was almost thinking of using walking trousers from go outdoors as I use these mostly when not working. They are flexible and light but probably not that strong

A size bigger than you normally get.

Your arse is big - recognise this fact, accept it and cater for it.
:) :)

I have started buying my ordinary trousers from Boundary Mill (expensive mill for oldies in a coach) in colne (non work ones), they cost me a lot more but they are roomier, elasticated and better quality.
THose for working in I also get a size bigger so I can stretch, bend over etc.

Get a size lager waste and a pair of heavy duty braces, like Tommy Walsh wore.. I started a few years ago and never felt so comfortable not having a belt digging in at the midriff ..downside is not showing off builders bum:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

I have some elasticated ‘Click’ branded ones with an elastic waste. No crotch or arse problems and I’m in and out of holes :) constantly.

scruffs or dewalt or if you can find them tranemo. brands .
if they’re not £50 quid they’re junk.

I wear snickers. They are good yet expensive and I don't have a big bum.

Englebert Strauss last for years however, they went a bit too manmade and shiny with millions of pointless pockets. Ive seen in the last catalogue they are doing vintage simple trousers again. Another option is Carharts. They do kids trousers too which are billiant.

Lol. Driving home last night I felt a bit uncomfortable in the seat. Looked down and saw that my right knacker was trying to escape. I thought I heard a 'rip' when I was working yesterday. Of course, I had to send a photo to mrs mottie. It raised a laugh.

For working, I either wear a bib and brace type overall or the full overall, with a zip up the front. The b&b type, have elasticated straps, over the shoulders, which make it easy to bend over at the hip, or the knees. I also keep an old anorak type jacket to hand, for when it's cooler.

I also keep a pair of wellies in the garage /workshop - with elasticated waist waterproof trousers already on the boots, ready to jump into - fire brigade style.

I hate wearing them, but have a couple of pairs of braces. These work well with looser waisted trousers, and stretch as you bend, then the elastcated braces pull the trousers back into position. Strangely, my father always wore both belt and braces, you would never see him out without both.
