trowel size choice?

Hi all, have found loads of advice on tiling my bathroom from this forum, thanks to all those who post on here.

My next problem is all the different advice on trowel types. Tiles i'm fitting are porcelain 300x600 on hardibacker and plasterboard, can i use a standard square notch or a 20mm round notch. Do i need a larger notch due to the tile weight or in the wet areas. Only have a shower over bath.

Any help would be much appreciated.
